English Language Arts

Middle school English Language Arts instruction focuses on establishing strong literacy skills. Each grade level builds and deepens students’ abilities in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.  Students learn how to effectively use digital tools and analyze credible resources. These skills guide students on the path to academic success and informed citizenship.
